Both the 2020 RAM 2500 and 2020 RAM 3500 offer the same two engine options: a 6.7-liter 6-cylinder diesel, and a 6.4-liter V8. As such, horsepower ratings are the same, though the 2020 3500 can reach greater echelons of torque.

What’s different?
As one would figure, the 2020 RAM 3500 has a higher starting MSRP than the 2020 2500, which corresponds to greater torque and payload capabilities (especially when comparing the standard offerings). Interestingly though, the 2020 2500 is listed as boasting a greater max towing capacity by 70 pounds.
The 2020 2500 can also stretch to being an inch wider and taller than the 2020 3500. Though there may not be any grand meaning to this, it’s different from what most people expect. But then, truth is often complicated, isn’t it?
