Ain’t no ‘fraidy-cats with Dodge sedans

The 2015 Dodge Charger with the Hellcat engine is rated to make more than 700 horsepower.

2015 Dodge Charger with the Hellcat engine

If you’re the type that grew up (meaning got older) wishing to own a piece of automotive history like the Dodge Charger, but things like kids and responsibility managed to wedge themselves between you and that dream, Palmen Motors may have the answer for you. If you can imagine picking the kids up from school only to be challenged at a stoplight by someone thinking they are pushing the buttons of somebody in a standard family sedan. In response you unleash the power of the most powerful engine ever to be placed in a production sedan. Assuming you haven’t completely drifted off to fantasy land, you are probably guessing we are talking about pulling on the tail of the 2015 Dodge Charger with the Hellcat engine.

Regardless of engine choice, this is intimidating in a rear-view mirror.

Forget about Rolls Royce, forget about Mercedes-Benz AMG; and Bently, they have all been measured and found wanting in comparison to the 2015 Dodge Charger with the Hellcat engine. A few select versions of the 2015 Dodge Charger will be outfitted with a 6.2-liter, V-8 Hemi engine that is rated to produce an unbelievable 707 horsepower. This level horsepower is historically reserved for super cars that have price tags measured in quarters and halves of millions of dollars. While Chrysler has not released official pricing yet, several highly respected automotive publications have estimated that the 2015 Dodge Charger with the Hellcat engine will come in with a manufacturer’s suggested retail price around $60,000.

That would place the 2015 Charger well below the previously mentioned European supercars, but also very much in line with high-performing cars from GM with names like Corvette and Camaro. Even looking at what is coming down the pipe from Chevy with those two high-octane models, nothing is even remotely close to the potential of the 2015 Dodge Charger with the Hellcat engine. As it stands, the 2015 Camaro Z/28 is only rated to break 600 horsepower; same for the upcoming Corvette Z06.

If you would like to express your interest in the 2015 Dodge Charger with the Hellcat engine to the Palmen Motors sales staff, please let us know today.
