At the 2020 Chicago Auto Show, FCA and the Chrysler brand just introduced the 2021 Chrysler Pacifica minivan with an all-new luxury Pinnacle trim, a fully automatic all-wheel drive (AWD) system, and plenty of additional upgrades. 2021 Chrysler Pacifica Minivan – All-Wheel Drive (AWD) System

The Chrysler Pacifica minivan is proud to introduce a fully automatic all-wheel drive system on its 2021 model. When wheels lose traction on ice or snow, the Pacifica AWD system automatically activates to transfer engine torque to the wheels. When the AWD system is not in use, the power transfer unit and rear drive module disconnect, improving vehicle efficiency.

Aside from being available on the 2021 model year, AWD will also be available on the 2020 Chrysler Pacifica AWD Launch Edition that is set to release in the second quarter of 2020, prior to the official release of the 2021 Chrysler Pacifica.
