Introducing the Electric Jeep Wrangler!
The 2021 Jeep Wrangler 4xe is equipped with an advanced 2L turbocharged inline 4 engine paired with 2 electric motors. This powertrain configuration produces up to 375 horsepower and 470 lb-ft of torque. Additionally, this is paired with a standard TorqueFlite 8-speed automatic transmission. Furthermore, as expected of any Wrangler model, the Wrangler 4xe offers 4×4 (four-wheel drive) capability, although now electric powered.
Depending on the choice of E-Selec driving modes, the 2021 Jeep Wrangler 4xe model is estimated for 50 MPGe (miles per gallon equivalent) and a driving range of 400 miles.
The 2021 Jeep Wrangler 4xe model was announced with a planned release date of December 2020.
